A "Hold" of 6 business days is placed on deposited cheques to allow sufficient time for them to clear the account.
Cashback is a "No Holds" feature. That means you can deposit funds at any Cashstop machine and then immediately withdraw up to your pre-authorized limit. For most people, that limit is between $200 - $2000.
In addition, you can arrange for Cashback access on your Scotiabank Visa or Scotiabank Line of Credit. Then you could use the "No Holds" feature and access up to $1000 - $2000.
To apply for Cashback so that you can have immediate access to your funds, contact your home Scotiabank branch today.
