Important - Changes the Method of Granting
Interest-free Grace Period
There are currently two industry standards for which grace periods are applied on new VISA card purchases. Scotiabank currently uses Method 1, and will be moving to Method 2 effective December 1, 2008.
In order to maintain your interest-free grace period on new VISA card purchases, both your previous statement and current statement balances must be paid in full by their respective due dates.
