We want to ensure that our workforce reflects the diverse communities in which we operate, and that we provide an inclusive workplace for all of our employees. Our commitment to diversity encompasses people of varied ethnic backgrounds, gender, values, abilities, family status, age, religious beliefs, sexual orientation and gender identity.
Workplace Support ( Employee Resource Group)
With the Bank’s support, a group of LGBT employees and their allies have created an employee resource group called Scotia Pride. Scotia Pride’s mission is to help the Bank foster an inclusive environment, where employees and customers of the LGBT community feel safe, valued and respected, and to support Scotiabank’s brand recognition as an employer and bank of choice, where we celebrate diversity.
