All Scotiabank branches will be closed on October 13th, 2008 in observance of Thanksgiving Day, however our servers will remain on-line as usual. Instructions are provided below regarding the following products:
ScotiaConnect for Windows / ScotiaConnect Online / Electronic Daily Statement
ScotiaConnect customers will not be able to initiate transfers between accounts but will be able to see up-to-date balance and transactions on that day.
There will be no Electronic Daily Statement (EDS) files generated for Monday October 13th, 2008. EDS customers with a 6:00 am or 7:30 am time slot will be able to obtain the balance and transaction file for Friday October 10th, 2008 on Monday, October 13th, 2008. All other users will receive the file on the next business day. Regular processing will resume Tuesday, October 14th, 2008.
ScotiaConnect Online Wire Payments
Wire payments with an execution date of Monday, October 13th, 2008 will be processed the next business day, Tuesday, October 14th, 2008.
ScotiaConnect Online EFT
Transactions with a due date of October 13th, 2008 must be input and processed prior to the 2:15 pm Eastern Time cut-off in accordance with the ‘Latest Input Date’ noted in the chart below.
For Receivables:
(Note: If the input file contains both receivables and payables the ‘latest input date’ utilized must be that recorded below for ‘payables’.)
