Now that you have registered for Scotiabank Secure Email, you are ready to apply for the Scotiabank Student GIC Program. Here’s how in three easy steps:

Submit your application
1. Scan all pages of the application into one single PDF file.
2. Log into your Scotiabank Secure Email Service mailbox and REPLY to the last secure email in the mailbox. Your email must include a single PDF file only. The subject line of your email must state: “Scotiabank Student GIC Program – Your Full Name (Given/First and Surname/Last) – Passport Number - New Application".

Following review and acceptance of your completed Application, we will send you a secure email confirming the Scotia Investment Account Number and provide wire transfer instructions (to transfer money) within five (5) business days to enable you to purchase the GIC. Please allow for time difference, weekends and other Public Holidays in Canada.
