TRANSUNION CREDIT SERVICES TERMS OF USE

Please review these terms of use (the “Terms of Use”) for the TransUnion Credit Services, which are brought to you by The Bank of Nova Scotia (“Scotiabank”).  

By enrolling in and using the TransUnion Credit Services and selecting “Accept” you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not select “Accept” or discontinue use of the TransUnion Credit Services.

A copy of these Terms of Use is available at all times by accessing the credit score settings page in the app.

No additional access charges: These TransUnion Credit Services are made available to you by Scotiabank at no additional charge. Charges are subject to change by Scotiabank.

Use of Your Information:   By accessing and enrolling in these TransUnion Credit Services, you have agreed to Scotiabank sharing your name, address and date of birth with TransUnion.  Your information will not be used by TransUnion other than to verify your identity to then enroll you in the TransUnion Credit Service. 

Other Scotiabank Agreements Still Apply:  These Terms of Use apply in addition to any other agreement or other terms and conditions that apply to your accounts with Scotiabank or your use of our services and products.  These Terms of Use do not replace those other agreements or terms and conditions and continue to apply when you enrol and use the TransUnion Credit Services.

What are the Transunion Credit Services?  The TransUnion Credit Services are various services and features provided by TransUnion Interactive Inc., a Delaware corporation (“TU” or “TransUnion Interactive”) and a corporate affiliate of Trans Union of Canada Inc. (“TransUnion Canada”) including Credit Score, Score Factors, Where you Stand, and Credit Score History.  TU and TransUnion Canada will be collectively referred to as “TransUnion”. Your credit score is brought to you by Scotiabank through the TransUnion Credit Services as a convenience only.  Scotiabank is not responsible for the credit score, its accuracy or your reliance on it.

Changes to your access by Scotiabank to the TransUnion Services: Scotiabank may change, remove or otherwise modify features and services relating to the TransUnion Credit Services including adding new features or deleting your access to the TransUnion Credit Services. Scotiabank will notify you of these changes if required to do so by law.  By accessing the TransUnion Credit Services or using any new or modified features when they become available, you agree to the updated Terms of Use.
