Scotiabank®* Travel Banking Bundle Offer
Terms and Conditions



You could get up to 35,000 Scotia Rewards®* points by opening all of the following Scotiabank®* accounts: a new Scotia Rewards eligible Day-to-Day Banking Account (a “Day-to-Day Account”) with a Passport ScotiaCard®*, a new eligible Scotiabank®* Credit Card account and a new Scotiabank®* MomentumPLUS Savings Account (a “MPSA”) (each of the foregoing, an “eligible account”) and meeting all of these Terms and Conditions. Individuals who are holders of all eligible accounts that comply with these Terms and Conditions have completed the “Travel Bundle Offer”.

General Terms

  1. This “Travel Bundle Offer” includes the Day-to-Day Offer, the MPSA Offer, the Scotiabank Credit Card Offer, and the Travel Bundle Bonus Point Offer (each, an “Offer”), all as described in further detail below.
  2. This Travel Bundle Offer is available starting July 1st, 2018 and will end October 31st, 2018 (the “Offer Period”).
  3. You must be a Canadian resident to be eligible for any Offer.
  4. Limit of one Travel Bundle Offer per customer.
  5. This Travel Bundle Offer (or any of the Offers) may not be combined with any other offers.
  6. The application of the rebate to a joint Eligible Account may allow the other joint account holder to become aware that you have other products with Scotiabank. By applying for, or accepting an offer, you consent to the offer being applied to the joint Eligible Account. Speak to your Scotiabank representative for more details.
  7. For joint accounts, only the primary borrower/accountholder will be awarded the additional Scotia Rewards®* points that are part of the Travel Bundle Offer.
  8. To receive a bonus under any Offer, all eligibile accounts must be open and in good standing at the time the Offer is awarded.
  9. An eligible Scotiabank®* credit card account includes; a Scotiabank Passport™ Visa Infinite* credit card, a Scotiabank®* Gold American Express® credit card or a Scotiabank®* American Express® credit card. For joint eligible credit card accounts, a maximum of 1 bonus for each Offer will be applied to that eligible account.
  10. Travel Bundle Offer applies to personal accounts only (excludes small business, corporate or commercial accounts).
  11. All rates and fees are subject to change.

5,000 Scotia Rewards®* Points – Day-to-Day Account Offer (the “Day-to-Day Offer”)

  1. Receive 5,000 Scotia Rewards®* Points when you:
    i. Open a new eligible Day-to-Day Account with a Passport ScotiaCard within the Offer Period; and

    ii. within 60 days of opening your eligible Day-to-Day Account , you set up the following on your eligible Day-to-Day Account and they clear:

    a. 1 pre-authorized payroll deposit; or
    b. 2 pre-authorized transactions (PATs),
    where a “pre-authorized transaction” means a pre-authorized debit or a pre-authorized credit; and

  2. The 5,000 Scotia Rewards points will be deposited to your Scotia Rewards®* account within 3 statement cycles of your payroll or PAT clearing your Day-to-Day Account. Only one Offer is available per customer on single or joint accounts and only when your account has qualified. For joint accounts, if at the time of awarding the offer each customer has a Passport ScotiaCard, points will be split equally.
  3. Existing Scotiabank chequing account holders are not eligible for this Day-to-Day Offer.
  4. This Day-to-Day Offer is non-transferrable and cannot be duplicated or combined with any other offer that is not included in the Travel Bundle Offer. 1,000 Scotia Reward®* Points-MomentumPLUS Savings Account Offer (the “MPSA Offer”)
  5. Receive 1,000 Scotia Rewards®* points when you:
    i. Open a new MPSA within the Offer Period ; and
    ii. Become the holder of all three eligible accounts within the Offer Period.
  6. Individuals who were holders of a Scotia Momentum Savings Account or a MPSA prior to the start of the Offer Period are ineligible for this MPSA Offer.
  7. The 1,000 bonus will be awarded to your Scotia Rewards®* account within 3 statement cycles after all terms and conditions of the MPSA Offer are complete.

Up to 25,000 Scotia Rewards®* Points Offer (the “Scotiabank®* Credit Card Offer”) on eligible Scotiabank®* credit cards

  1. All credit card Offers may be changed or extended and cannot be combined with any other offer.
  2. All rates and fees are effective as of July 1, 2018 and are subject to change.
  3. Offer applies to new eligilble Scotiabank credit card accounts only (each an “Account”) approved and opened by October 31, 2018.
  4. ormer or current Scotiabank credit cardholders that transfer from an existing Scotiabank credit card account or re-open a closed Scotiabank credit card account are excluded from this Offer. The term “purchases” when used in the credit card offers does not include a cash advance (including a balance transfer, Scotia Credit Card Cheque or Cash-Like Transaction), credit, returns refunds or other credits, fees, interest or other charges.
  5. Applicable terms and conditions of this Scotiabank®* Credit Card Offer are based on the following eligible credit card type and are as follows:
    (a) Scotiabank®* Passport™ Visa Infinite® credit card

    i. To be eligible for the 25,000 bonus Scotia Rewards points (the ‘Offer”), you must have at least $1000 in net purchases (purchases less returns, refunds or other similar credits) posted to your Scotiabank credit card account (“Account”) in the first 3 months from the Account open date. The bonus points will be credited to the primary cardholder’s Scotia Rewards account within 5 to 10 business days after the first 3 months has passed, provided the Account is open and in good standing.

    (b) Scotiabank®* Gold American Express® credit card:

    i. To be eligible for the 15,000 bonus points offer (this “Offer”), you must have at least $1000 in net purchases (purchases less returns or similar credits) posted to your Scotiabank credit card account (“Account”) in the first 3 months from the Account open date. The bonus points will appear as an adjustment on your Account statement within 2 statement cycles after the third billing cycle has passed provided the Account is open and in good standing.

    (c) Scotiabank®* American Express® credit card

    i. To be eligible for the 5,000 bonus points offer (this “Offer”), you must have at least $500 in net purchases (purchases less returns or similar credits) posted to your Scotiabank credit card account (“Account”) in the first 3 months from the Account open date. The bonus points will appear as an adjustment on your Account statement within 2 statement cycles after the third billing cycle has passed provided the Account is open and in good standing.

4,000 Scotia Rewards®* Points-Travel Bundle Bonus Offer (the “Travel Bundle Bonus Offer”)

  1. You will receive the 4,000 Travel Bundle Bonus Offer if:

    (i) you have all three eligible accounts and at least one of those eligible accounts was opened within the Offer Period; and

    (ii) within 60 days of opening your first eligible account within the Offer Period, you set up the following on your eligible Day-to-Day Account with a Passport ScotiaCard®* and they clear:

    a. 1 pre-authorized payroll deposit; or
    b. 2 pre-authorized transactions,
    where a “pre-authorized transaction” means a pre-authorized debit or a pre-authorized credit; and


  2. You are not eligible for this Travel Bundle Bonus Offer if, prior to the Offer Period, you were a holder of all three eligible accounts and/or already had a pre-authorized transaction set up on your bank account.
  3. The 4,000 Scotia Rewards®* Points will be credited to the eligible Scotia Rewards®* account within 3 statement cycles after all terms and conditions of the Travel Bundle Bonus Offer are complete and the first pre-authorized transaction has cleared the eligible bank account.
