To use Remote Deposit Capture, you must have ScotiaConnect® and a certified cheque scanner. A certified cheque scanner can be purchased from our preferred scanner vendor or other vendors. A list of certified cheque scanners is available from your Scotiabank Relationship Manager.

Cheques payable in Canadian currency must be deposited to a Canadian-domiciled CAD business account and cheques payable in U.S. currency must be deposited to a Canadian-domiciled USD business account.

Deposits made before 8 p.m. ET, Monday - Friday will be processed same day. Deposits made after 8 p.m. ET or on weekends or statutory holidays will be processed the next business day. Holds may apply.
