Juan Manuel Herrera

Juan Manuel Herrera holds the role of Senior Economist and Strategist at Scotiabank Economics and GBM since August 2022, based in London, UK. Juan Manuel oversees the English-language publications of Scotiabank’s Latin American economics teams and provides macroeconomic strategy to capital markets teams in Europe and North America. He is also responsible for forecasting and analysis of the Eurozone and UK economies.

Juan Manuel has previously worked as an FX Strategist and Economist for Scotiabank, having joined the bank in July 2017. He holds a Master’s of Science in financial economics from the University of Leuven in Belgium and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Toronto.
