The Federal Government** requires certain documents, including writs, court orders and other such notifications, to be served on a customer’s branch of account. Effective July 17, 2002, changes came into effect to allow notifications with respect to enforcement of family support orders or support provisions, to be served on a designated branch or office in each province where The Bank of Nova Scotia Trust does business.
