Profile
Tim Clark was appointed Group Head and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Scotiabank in November 2024. In this role, Tim is responsible for the Bank's overall technology and innovation strategy which supports the company’s growth and innovation with trust and efficiency. His responsibilities include leading the delivery and operation of all technology capabilities, platforms, and services globally, as well as technology risk and information security.
Tim brings 30 years of global industry expertise across retail, corporate, capital markets and commercial banking including positions in Canada, UK, Australia and the US. He was most recently Executive Vice President & CIO Canadian Retail, Capital Markets and Corporate at TD Bank, and previously worked at Citigroup holding various technology roles in Capital Markets and Investment Banking.
Tim has a significant track record of leading global technology and business partnerships through definition and ultimately delivery of enterprise-wide transformation programs. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Tim is an avid cyclist, member of Les Domestiques Cycling philanthropic community and Chair of the Mattamy National Cycling Centre Management Committee.
